Machining
Metis provides machining and fabrication services for its customers and has been doing so for 30 years. The Metis machine shop has been expanded from a prototype, one-of-a-kind service to include computer controlled production. The Metis shop started as an adjunct to the electronics work because it was difficult to build anything electronic without the need of cutting metal in some way. These humble beginnings quickly led to substantial machine design and building programs:
