Engraving
One of the age old problems in producing electronic equipment is the human interface. Usually this requires some sort of control panel that needs to be lettered. The highest class of lettering is engraving. The addition of computer controlled machining has given Metis an engraving capability beyond the means of most engraving shops. The computer controlled milling machine has a larger capacity and can cut larger letters deeper without strain.
