Electronics Manufacturing
Metis has assisted electronics manufacturing by designing and building specialized tools. For example, we created pin shears to shear the multitude of pins along the edge of the daughter board. By shearing the pins in advance of installation and soldering into the mother board, these pins required no further cutting and meet military soldering requirements for soldering over the end of the lead.
