Automotive Industry
Pritchard studied the chronic problems that a brake shoe manufacturer had with their shoe extruding machines. Modern shoe formulas tended to stick to the extruding components and in turn cause improper shaping of the shoe. After discussing approaches with the manufacturing staff, Metis designed, built, and installed the machine modification. Problem solved.
